Everteen Menstrual Cup
Hi Guys! Today I am going to review Everteen Menstrual Cup for you all.
It was around three years ago when I first heard about what a menstrual cup is. I was intrigued by the idea but had a lot of doubts and questions. Time kept passing and I kept learning more and more about its usage, effectiveness, advantages, ease, etc. With time, my doubts also started getting cleared but I continued using pads.
Trust me, it took me some time to switch to tampons from pads. It seemed like a huge achievement at that time. Yes! It required courage (a lot, actually)! I thought it would be difficult and uneasy. Well, I kept using tampons and I knew that my next target was a menstrual cup.
But, I couldn’t gather the courage to do it. It felt so difficult for me. Well, the time finally came a month ago when I received Everteen Menstrual Cup in my PR mail. When they sent it to me, I was excited, intrigued yet nervous and anxious.
Everteen Menstrual Cups come in two sizes. One is small and the other one is large. I received the small one as I am under 30 years of age. When my periods came, I finally used Everteen Menstrual Cup along with Everteen Panty Liners.
So, now that I have finally used it, I know its results and I am sure about my opinion about it. If you are also interested in knowing how Everteen Menstrual Cup worked for me, is it worth buying or not, then please keep on reading this post till the end.

My Experience with Everteen Menstrual Cup
I had never experienced an excessively heavy blood flow, even on the first and second days of my periods. Ever since I gave birth to Arhum, things have totally changed. I get quite a lot of menstrual blood on the first two days of my periods and a regular pad doesn’t seem to help. That is why I use Seni Lady Bladder Control Pads on heavy-flow days.
Well, this time I knew I had to use a menstrual cup. Luckily, my periods arrived within three days of receiving it. Before using, I had boiled the sterilized the cup by boiling it in water for 5-7 minutes. As I have seen a lot of video on how to use it, how the insertion was pretty quick and easy for me.
I simply squatted up with my legs apart, folded the menstrual cup as shown in the picture and gently inserted it into the opening of my vagina.
Honestly, it was not that difficult and was pretty easy. Actually, easier than I thought it would. When it completely went inside, it popped open, created a light suction, caused a minor discomfort and once I got up and started to move, I almost felt like I had nothing down there.
You would be amazed to hear this – I took a nap after half an hour of applying it as it was afternoon time and when I got up, I forgot that I was on my periods. Secondly, I had used Everteen Daily Panty Liners along with the cup as it was my first time and thought it would probably leak. But thankfully, I inserted it well, just as it should and there was no leakage and no discomfort.
A menstrual cup shouldn’t be used for more than twelve hours. And I was already curious enough; I removed Everteen Menstrual Cup after six and a half hours. The removal was easier than insertion. I gently pulled it out using the stem of the cup but what I did to avoid discomfort was – as soon as I got to the base of the cup, I slightly pinched it to release the suction and then took it out.
This made it easier and relaxing rather than discomforting or irritation. When I removed the cup completely I emptied it into the toilet, rinse it with water and inserted it again. The first time was not that bad for me and I was happy that I had learnt it pretty quickly.
Then, it was very easy for me and I took off the panty liner as there was no leakage. My periods literally ended in five days and they had never been so easy. I loved used Everteen Menstrual Cup as it made everything so easy and mess-free.

Will I recommend it?
Of course, yes! If you are planning to try a menstrual cup, which you definitely should, you must try Everteen Menstrual Cup and select the size as per your age or usual blood flow.
