Hi Guys! I hope you all are doing good..
Today I am going to review Indus Valley Bio Organic Rose Petal Powder for you all. I love Rose Petals Powder and I recently shared my current skincare regime using just rose powder in three different ways. The powder I have been using for around two months now is the Mesmara Rose Petals Powder.
Due to regular usage, I had already used enough of it and while I was planning to buy another jar before I run out of it, Indus Valley sent me their Rose Petal Powder. Now I have been using it for around three weeks now and here I am with my complete review and honest opinion about it.
Cost: Rs. 199 for 100 gm
Shelf Life: 2 years
This powder comes in a pink and white cardboard box with necessary details mentioned on it. The back side of the box has the list of all available herbal powders. As you open the box, you see 100 gm powder stuffed in a plastic pouch. The pouch is not even a zip lock sort of packaging.
The overall packaging is very basic and could have been better in such a price point. I suggest they come up with a zip lock or a jar or any sort of air tight container next time to avoid the product from getting soggy. I hope the brand takes my suggestion on a positive note.
Smell: Very identical to roses
I think I don’t need to mention how much I love rose petal powder. If you have been reading my blogs regularly, you would already know how many benefits it has and how it works for me. Trying out new brands and qualities is something that I like a lot and is actually a part of my work now.
As soon as I saw the powder for the very first time, I realized it was very difficult in texture than the Mesmara one. The Mesmara powder is very fine in texture but this one looks quite fibrous to me. But what I like about this fibrous texture is that it actually helps in gentle exfoliating of the skin when I massage it softly on my skin.
First of all, I love its affordable price point and the fact that it is often available on huge discounts online. This is a completely pure powder with no added chemicals. It does not irritate my skin in any way and soothes it instead.
Nowadays, I do not use any sort of soap or chemically made face wash. I just use rose petals powder as a facial cleanser. It instantly removes excess oil, dirt from my skin and makes it look brighter and cleaner. It controls my acne to a great extent and calms them down, whenever I have any.
I also add water in one teaspoon rose petals powder to make a lump free paste having the consistency identical to a foundation and apply this paste once a week. It also has a stronger yet amazing rose scent to it which is completely okay and not at all bothersome to my sensitive nose.
Rose Petal Powder also acts as a mild cleanser for hair, so for that I mix 2 tablespoons powder with 20 drops of Jojoba Oil and apply the mixture to my scalp and hair till the ends. It repairs damaged hair, tames down frizziness, smells amazing and improves overall hair health..
