Dental Horror!

So my new “Whatsapp” status is “Some tortures are physical and some are mental, but the one that is both is DENTAL”. Though it is something not written by me, I absolutely love it because it is so true.
For me, dental pains are the most horrible pains one could get and visiting a dental clinic is like stepping into hell. Though my dentist is as persuading as he could be, he seems to be the scariest creature on this Earth each time I visit him.
He assures me that I’m not really going to have “any” pains but that is not as simple as he sounds.
So at the age of 19, I already have had two grown wisdom teeth and two are almost half grown. The pain they have constantly been giving me is irritating. I wonder why we have wisdom teeth if all they ever do is cause problems.
The growing “two teeth” give me an excruciating pain and due to this, I constantly have a headache. This teeth pain has been gradually increasing from the day they have started to grow. I am tired of the pain, redness, tenderness and swelling around the site. The basic issue I’m facing is that they have caused a flap of gum tissue to grow over them which leads to gum infections again and again.

What’s even more irritating is the fact that the grown “two” are tilted and unaligned from my jaw which continuously hurt my inner cheeks and as a result they swell up and I have a sore mouth. Why do they always have to grow in crooked, sideways, or otherwise misaligned? Dental problems are so hurting seriously.

After about a year of my dentist’s nagging, I have finally consented to have my wisdom teeth pulled out. This sounds even scarier to me because of the horror stories I’ve heard from friends and family, read on Google or have seen on television. I’m just relieving myself by saying again and again that “not all wisdom teeth stories are bad.” Hoping and praying for an easy and fine experience.
