Review and Unboxing: Glamego Box – January 2018

*This post is not sponsored*

Hi Guys! I hope you all are doing good..

I am back with another unboxing of Glamego Box and as expected, this month also the box has come up with some amazing products.. The subscription plans of the box remain the same but I’ll make sure to give the details later in this post..

If you are interested in buying the box, I’ll also leave it’s buy link for your convenience but the link is not affiliate and will not harm you in any way.. You can go ahead and make your purchase through that link or can directly go to

Glamego, as I always say never fails to surprise and impress me.. It not only comes up with amazing products, elite brands and new launches each month but also has some really cute designs on their box.. This month the box’s theme is #NoResolutions..

If you know me, you would know that I don’t get plan for upcoming years or make resolutions. New Year is ofcourse an exciting time but it is not more than a date to me.. I am a believer of the fact that life remains the same each day and just the change in calender cannot make a difference..

Making resolutions is easy but following them and being able to fulfil them is what matters.. I like to set short goals for myself and not name them my Resolutions. I think life is more beautiful and easy if you go with the flow..

Also I believe that life is what you make it and how you want it to be. It can be good or bad, depending on what you do for yourself each day. With just a change in date, no one can change their life. Motivation to accomplish a new task can happen on any day of the year..

I love this month’s box’s theme and the traditional resolutions they’ve put out.. If you are interested in knowing what I’ve received in this month’s box and how it looks like, then please keep on reading this post till the end..

Subscription Plans:

One Month Subscription

Quarterly Subscription

Half Yearly Subscription

Yearly Subscription

Like always the box is slim, compact and light weight.. It comes in an eco friedly, outer cardboard box which had my order details and kept the main box safe and secure.. The actual box is a mix of peach and light yellow color..

The theme name, logo and cute mermaids aquire the front of the box and look really cute.. The lateral sides of the box and the bottom has a lot of old fashioned and illogical resolutions listed such as “size zero”, “talk less”, “say always yes”, “less facebook”, “get fair” etc etc..

Inside the Box:

As you open the box, you see four products securely kept in hay but on top of that you have this month’s Glamego leaflet which says “Thanks for making Glamego India’s No. 1 Beauty Box” which I totally agree..

The back side of the leaflet has the details of all four products kept inside the box.. No product was bubble wrapped and I don’t really mind it until and unless my products are safe and spill proof..

1. Bio Bloom Face Radiance Oil

Cost: Rs. 1499 for 15 ml

My Thoughts:

This face oil has a very mild smell with a hint of citrus in it.. It is made up of 100% natural ingredients and I’m really impressed by it’s ingredients list and claims. I love using serums and oils on my face so as to avail it’s benefits along with maintaining the natural oil balance of my skin.

I always had a misconception that I am too young to use a wrinkle optimising or anti aging product but after reading this product’s claims, I did my research and found that it is really very necessary to start taking care of the skin after 18 years to keep the skin healthy, glowing and youthful..

2. Bella Voste Lip Gloss

Cost: Rs. 599 for 3.2 ml

My Thoughts:

This lipgloss is formulated in Italy and I am in the shade 03, “Pop of Pink”. It seems pricey as per quantity but I’ve heard some really great things about Bella Voste and I’m expecting a lot from this product.. This lip gloss has a beautiful color and I think I would love to wear it alone as well as on top of my favorite lipsticks..

Lip glosses are definitely making a come back and I love applying glosses on daily basis.. This gloss has a very very mild fruity scent to it which I like.. It has a very smooth and creamy texture and glides on to the lips very easily.. It keeps the lips quite moisturised which I love…

3. Natural Bath and Body Grape Fruit Vitamin C Vital Nourishment Cream

Cost: Rs. 220 for 20 ml

My Thoughts:

Vitamin C is equally essential for the skin just like Vitamin E. It is very helpful in lightening acne scars, getting rid of blemishes and reducing hyper pigmentation. I love the combo of the key ingredients and it is really good to make the skin even toned and much brighter.. This cream smells amazing and you guys know how much I love fruity scents..

You can smell it’s grape fruit fragrance as soon as you open it but the smell is not overpowering. It has a very creamy and smooth texture and doesn’t feel heavy.. This brand has never failed to impress me and I can’t wait to see what it does for me..

4. MCaffeine Caffeine Shower Gel with Taurine and Vitamin E

Cost: Rs. 189 for 50 ml

My Thoughts:

I am a sucker for shower gels and love the way they feel. I have used this one as well because I couldn’t resist.. It has a very mesmerizing smell which I highly love.. My first impressions about it apart from it’s lovely scent is that it does not make the dry at all, even in such a dry and cold weather..

Final Verdict:

I am very happy with all the products received in this month’s box.. I can’t wait to see how they perform and I’m really really excited to see how the star product of the box, “Bio Bloom Face Radiance Oil” works on me and my mum..

I just wish that we could see at least one new brand this month but nonetheless, all products seem very promising and great.. Once again a big big big thumbs up to Glamego team for designing such a lovely box and curating the products…

My Ratings: 5/5

I hope you all liked this post.. Don’t forget to watch my YouTube unboxing as well. Stay tuned for detailed reviews of these products..
