Review: Bio Bloom Facial Scrub Gel

Hi Guys! I hope you all are doing good…

Today I am going to review Bio Bloom Facial Scrub Gel for you all… I received this product in the June 2018 Edition of My Envy Box. So after three months of using it, I am here with my detailed review of it. I have tried many scrubs in the past such as Ryaal Mr. Beans Exfoliating Scrub Mask, Vedantika Herbals Ayurvedic Skin Polishing Scrub, Fuschia Coffee Cream Smoothening Face & Body Scrub, Vedantika Herbals Facial Scrub, Anatomicals The Buff Stuff- “Citrus Body Scrub”, Oriflame Sweden Milk and Honey Gold Smoothing Sugar Scrub, Oriflame Sweden Feet Up Advanced 2 in 1 Deep Action Foot Scrub, Inveda D Tan Scrub etc but I hadn’t tried any scrub gel before this one.

If you are interested in knowing how this product worked for me, will I purchase or recommend it, then please keep on reading this post till the end…

Packaging:

I have a sample sized product with me which is basically a small, see-through, plastic tub with a golden screw cap. The original packaging is similar with just a larger tub. The tub has no airtight lid inside to keep the product spill proof. The product often reaches the screw cap and makes everything messy. The packaging is also unhygienic.

Smell:

Artificial, not good

Texture and Consistency:

This scrub has a gel texture with a medium consistency

My Experience with Bio Bloom Facial Scrub Gel:

This review is based upon my oily, acne prone, sensitive and problematic skin. I love exfoliating my skin due to its amazing benefits and when I was about to try this product for the first time, I had a lot of expectations from it. I thought it will deep cleanse my skin and moisturize it at the same time.

To start off with the smell, I’d say I do not like it even a bit. It is very artificial and unpleasant. However, the consistency of this product is good to work with. A little amount of product is enough per use. When I apply it on to my face, what I don’t like after the smell is how it feels on the skin.

It gives a slight tingling/itching sensation which you usually get while bleaching your face. This shouldn’t actually happen and feels uncomfortable. However, after rinsing it off, thank God I do not feel any side effects on the skin. It also does not disturb the natural oil balance of the skin.

The exfoliating granules are also minute and non-abrasive. They do not irritate the skin in any way. However, the performance is nothing very exceptional or mind-blowing. For the price point and claims, I don’t think it works that well. It just removes some oil and dirt and that’s all.

It neither makes the skin look deeply cleansed nor removes blackheads as effectively as it should. Overall, I think there are much better scrubs to try than the Bio Bloom Facial Scrub Gel. If it doesn’t harm the skin, it doesn’t make it any better either.

Pros of Bio Bloom Facial Scrub Gel:

*Suitable for all skin types
*Non-abrasive exfoliating granules
*Ingredients list mentioned

Cons of Bio Bloom Facial Scrub Gel:

*Only available online
*Unhygienic tub packaging
*Unpleasant smell
*Results not extremely satisfactory

Will I purchase it? Will I recommend it?

No. Since I do not like its performance on my skin, I would neither purchase it nor recommend it to anyone out there. Furthermore, I hate its smell and the way it feels on my skin.

Is it worth the money?

No. For me, it doesn’t work effectively, therefore, it is not worth the money as well.

My Ratings: 2.5/5
