Packaging:

This product comes in a huge, white, plastic tub and the packaging follows the typical “Mama Earth” theme. The tub is heavy and has a sturdy, screw cap which makes the packaging classic and mess proof. All the important product details are mentioned on the packaging along with the ingredients list. The tub also has a white, plastic lid inside to keep the salt safe from moisture or spilling around. As for the tub packaging, I honestly never like it because it is unhygienic to a great extent but for Epsom salt, I think it is totally fine as we don’t need to dip our fingers into the product.

Smell:

Mild, identical to Lavender

My Experience:

Starting off with the smell of this product, I’d say I like it and enjoy it quite a lot. The scent is pretty mild and does not bother my sensitive nose at all. I also love how amazing this salt looks and it literally allures me to use it just because of how beautiful it is. The shining purple salt flakes with mesmerizing, medicinal like smell are enough to grab anyone’s attention.

I mostly use it for my tired feet and I know I’ll be experience swelling near the end of my pregnancy as well, so it’ll be a good one to go with at that time too. It can also be used for relaxation in bathing or for backache but trust me, I am full of misery to waste it by using it daily in shower because I don’t want to get rid of it so soon.

Whenever I use it for my feet, I use warm water instead of cold because that’s my personal preference and I feel it delivers even much better results. Using it for my feet not only concentrates on the feet area and does all the good job there, but provides an overall relaxation. I take two tablespoons of this salt and dissolve it in warm water in a tub.

I then soak my feet in there and grab a cup of coffee or chill out on Instagram. It gets easily dissolved in water and seriously, it is a big treat for my tired feet. It does not irritate my skin at all and also, does not cause any sort of infections or itching. It not only relaxes the muscles but also relieves pain and swelling very quickly.

It also deep cleanses the skin making the feet look more pampered and clean. Due to its anti inflammatory properties, it treats fungal infections and itching on the skin. Most importantly, it relaxes my entire body and I feel like I’ve just had a good spa. Overall, this is a great salt with some amazing therapeutic qualities and helps me in every way. It also helps out my grandparents in relieving backache.
